Ash Gilbert / Managing Director

Ash Gilbert founded Pebblebeach Fundraising in 2009 and is responsible for the creative delivery of the agency. With 20 years’ fundraising experience, Ash has worked at Director level for several national charities. He also spent six years as Strategic Planning Director with a national fundraising agency and so knows the client–agency relationship from both sides. Ash is a passionate, committed fundraiser and a regular speaker on fundraising and direct marketing.

He has worked on fundraising campaigns for over 100 charities; each of which, Ash believes, has something special and unique that sets it apart. The majority of donors won’t have visited the project they are asked to support; so it is the fundraiser’s job to initiate the same emotion – and to bring them as close as possible to the experience – had they been there themselves. Ash approaches each new project with the same excitement and enthusiasm that has characterised his career.
