What is Pebblebeach Fundraising?
Pebblebeach is a full-service fundraising agency which can provide everything you need for a successful fundraising campaign. From strategic and tactical planning, campaign development and fundraising appeals to copywriting, design and print: we provide our clients with experience and support in raising funds from individual donors, high value supporters, companies and events. We support clients with recruitment and selection, we help with staff training and mentoring and we can provide temporary management cover – whatever is needed most.
Pebblebeach is a small agency with only two full-time members of staff, working with a network of experienced freelance experts. We’ve been working together for many years, and we all have experience of charities of every shape and size, working in all major charitable interest areas. We're based in Brighton, but we work for charities across the whole of the UK and Ireland.
We’ve worked in and led fundraising departments and have employed agencies such as ours, so we know that charities need to be able to call on experienced support, as and when they need it. They want strong fundraising products and initiatives that fit in with existing programmes – and that deliver great results.
Of course, every charity is different, but we think there are three common reasons why our clients have chosen Pebblebeach as their agency partner:
Firstly, we get fantastic results for them because a) we’ve got huge experience across the whole charity sector and b) we work hard to get to know them, their team and their fundraising culture. We give great advice and we have a track record of producing strong, successful fundraising campaigns.
Secondly, we’re really cost-effective. We only charge for time spent on the work we do – and that’s it. We don’t pass on overheads passed on, and we don’t have a huge wage bill to support – clients just pay for what they use. And because we’re experienced, we’re also very quick – which means costs are reduced further. We will agree a fee for a project and then stick to it. Or, if a client prefers, they can bring us in on a daily or even hourly basis – whatever suits them.
Lastly, and we think importantly, our clients enjoy working with us because they enjoy working with us. We know what it’s like working for a charity because we’ve been there ourselves. We share in our client’s passion for their work and in the joy they get from providing the money their charity needs.
